When you upload a PDF to a typical online tool, that file sits on someone else's server — often temporarily stored, logged, or scanned. Contracts, bank statements, medical records, IDs: all of it passes through a third party.

How to merge PDF files

Is it really 100% local? Do my files get uploaded?
No. Nothing is ever uploaded. All processing happens inside your own browser using JavaScript. You can verify this yourself: open your browser's developer tools (F12), go to the Network tab, and watch — after the page finishes loading, zero requests are made while you work. You can even disconnect from the internet entirely and the tools keep functioning.
Why does this matter for sensitive documents?
Most online PDF tools require uploading your file to their servers, which means contracts, financial statements, medical records and IDs pass through someone else's computer. With local browser processing, sensitive documents never leave your machine.
Is there a file size or page limit?
No artificial limits. Because the work happens on your own hardware rather than a shared server, the only real constraint is your device's memory. Large files work fine on modern computers.
Do I need to create an account or pay anything?
No account, no payment, no email address. The Merge and Split tools are completely free, with no daily caps or watermarked output.
Which browsers are supported?

Will the quality of my PDF change?
No. Merging and splitting move existing pages between documents without re-encoding them, so text, images and formatting are preserved exactly as they are.
Can I convert JPG or PNG images into a PDF?
Yes — open the "JPG to PDF" tab, drop your images (JPG, JPEG or PNG), arrange them in the order you want, and click "Convert to PDF". Each image becomes one page, either fitted onto A4 or at the image's original size. The images are embedded without re-encoding, so quality is preserved.
How do I rotate a PDF that's sideways?
Open the "Rotate PDF" tab, drop your file, choose 90° clockwise, 90° counter-clockwise or 180°, and click "Rotate PDF". Every page in the document is rotated by the chosen amount — ideal for fixing scans or photos that came out sideways.
